Matek ASPD-AUAV is an airspeed sensor designed for RC aircraft using the ArduPilot firmware.
The ASPD-AUAV is based on the AUAV-L30D sensor and supports multiple interfaces – CAN (DroneCAN protocol), I2C, and UART (MSP). The most common connection is via the CAN bus, ensuring reliable communication with the flight controller and easy integration into modern systems. It also features a CAN bootloader and status LEDs for clear indication.
The sensor operates from 4.5–5.5V with low power consumption of about 26 mA. It measures speeds up to 400 km/h (111 m/s) and works in a temperature range from –30 °C to +85 °C. With compact dimensions of 36x32x7.3 mm and a weight of only 5 g, it is easy to install even in small aircraft.
